Service Description

After conducting an initial intake interview of the presenting problem, Dr. Becker-Weidman, the child or young adult client, and his or her parents if appropriate, actively collaborate to develop treatment goals and the most suitable treatment plan. To maximize treatment benefits, Dr. Becker-Weidman asks clients to complete assignments between sessions to practice therapeutic skills. Parents can play an important role in supporting clients at home throughout this process and are often included in therapeutic sessions.
